A Story of Ages Past

It is 1000 years in the past.

The Moon Kingdom rules supreme over the rest of our Solar System. But, instead of being upheld by peace, the kingdom is upheld by powerful warriors: the Princess of the Planets, and their Guardians. Guided by the once frail and weak Princess Selenity and the bright light known as the Ginzuishou, this era of peace seemed to last for an eternity…

But unrest lies within the walls of the Kingdom…and a secret enemy, long away hidden, lies right below their feet…

Princess Selenity and her two most trusted warriors, Sailoruranus and Sailorearth, had always been close, even when she was too weak to stand on her own too feet. The trio were like inseperatable sisters – each caring for one another in the most honest of ways. But, the people of the kingdom saw more to this then what was truly going on…

Rumors began to escalate. Some whispered that the Princess of Uranus and Selenity were romantically involved; others gossiped that the Princess of the Earth and the Moon Princess were an item as well.

In a heartbeat, Earth was whisked away back to her Kingdom. After all, the Moon and the Earth had never been on good terms, so the rumor of the two Princesses being together was absolutely preposterous. They could not stand for it; and when the rare instance occurred when she was allowed to go to the Moon, Sailorearth was forced to be under strict supervision.

While this caused some unrest and unease in the system, it was not a horrific event. Selenity was without one of her closest friends and allies; but things did not begin to unravel until much later…

No one saw it coming.

A lone planet, on the edge of the system – beyond Pluto – existed. It was called Andrastia. And while the world had been slowly decaying and falling into a world of shadow and death, no one expected it to explode violently one day.

The Princess of Andrastia was away that day, but was so terribly shaken by the sudden and unexplained destruction of her world. None of the Sages, not even the great Beryl, knew what had caused it; and so, distraught, Andrastia found herself within the welcoming embrace of the Moon Kingdom while they tried to figure out what happened.

If only they knew of the danger that lurked just beyond this catastrophe…

Just one week after the destruction of her home world, Andrastia was found murdered within the alabaster walls of the Moon Palace. Her heart had been ripped from her chest and disposed of, leaving her within a pool of her own blood. Written on the wall above her bloody corpse was a message…nay, a warning: “Never trust your own power.”

The Kingdom was thrown into a panic, into a rage; no one knew who had such an extreme vendetta against the solitary soldier from the far reaches of the system. People began to blame, to point fingers towards those of the Kupier Belt and beyond – the people who had been shunned and ignored by the Moon Kingdom due to how far they were. Perhaps they were seeking revenge against the Silver Millennium now, and starting with the furthest Senshi within their fold.

They would find out who did this…and they would pay for Andrastia’s murder, and they would pay for it dearly.

But, in the midst of this extensive murder investigation, things continued to spiral downhill. No one knew that this would happen, nor could predict it.

One of the most powerful, must trusted of all of the great Sages within the Silver Millennium had somehow become deceitfully corrupt. Beryl, one of the Sages in the charge of the Princess of the Earth, had suddenly gone mad with jealousy and rage. Jealous of the Princess, Selenity – of the fact that she was loved by so many, and yet seemed to ignore the once gentle sage almost completely.

Her hair had turned red with her lust, with her rage; and she attacked the Moon Kingdom with an army of the Earth Kingdom’s best warriors, knights, sages and generals. People began to blame her for the death of Andrastia, to blame the Earth Kingdom for everything that had gone wrong.

Little did they know of the truth…

Sailorearth came to the Kingdom to prove herself, her innocence; but the war had broken out. Selenity knew that her trusted friend had no hand in this, and that was enough. All troops were called to war, and it became a war they were steadily losing. The Moon Kingdom had turned into a Kingdom of Death and Destruction instead of one of peace and serenity.

Selenity could not stand for it.

She had only one option, only one way to save them all – and that was to release the Forbidden Soldier, Sailorsaturn, from her imprisonment. Despite the urgings from Sailoruranus to not do this, Selenity fled the battle and went to that cold, desolate planet. With the power of the Ginzuishou, she released the deranged Senshi of Silence, and the pair returned to the Moon Kingdom.

When they returned, they found no one else alive. Even Beryl was dead; Uranus’ blade had pierced through the corrupt Sage’s heart, though Uranus lied in a bed of blood herself…though not from any of Beryl’s attacks.

Another enemy had appeared, this time wearing a fuku that was…unfamiliar. She had been waiting for Selenity to show up, and introduced herself pleasantly as Sailornemesis – the true warrior of Andrastia. Her power was so immense that she was able to drive both warriors back with relative ease, her powers over metal so great that it seemed weak to Selenity’s own use of the Ginzuishou. The pair struggled against her for a while, before Selenity lost her hold on the Ginzuishou.

It rolled across the battle field where Nemesis caught it under her boot. With a crunching noise, she caused a fracture to appear across the sacred crystal. A sadistic smile passed over her face as she said one thing:

“This, is what you get for playing God.”

Another fracture appeared across the crystal. Selenity dove for it, only to be grabbed by Nemesis and held up by her throat. Another crack. Nemesis began to cackle madly as the Moon Princess struggled against her, struggled for air. Victory seemed to be in the hands of evil, until one thing happened…

Sailorsaturn used her forbidden power – the power to destroy the World. Not even the strength of Sailornemesis could match her great power. With three simple worlds, Destruction overcame the Moon Kingdom, engulfing all within a bitter silence that brought all to ruin.

And, in the end, promised Rebirth for all of those present…even those with evil lingering in their hearts…

Now, 1000 years from the fall of the Silver Millennium, those killed during the battle begin to be reborn within this modern era on the planet known as Earth. Evil lurks around every corner, waiting, watching for the right moment to strike…to destroy the remnants of the past.

The race is now on as three factions of evil combat those from the fallen kingdom as they desperately search for Princess Selenity…and the most powerful force in the Universe, the Ginzuishou…

What Secrets Did the Silver Millennium Hide…?
